Done is Better Than Perfect
I’ve been waiting for the ‘right’ time to publish my first blog post. I thought I’d need something important to say or create a post that would scientifically engage my readers. But, as a project, Fotofonix is designed to be a personal journey with learning as its main objective. My writing skills are what they are today. My photography skills are what they are today. Every post makes me a more experienced writer. Every photograph taken makes me a more experienced photographer. For my first post, I thought I would embrace the theme of ‘Done is Better Than Perfect’.
This blog post is meant to be an ice-breaker and, as such, will be less than perfect. It is meant to and embrace practice. The images below embrace that theme. Taken on a Minolta X-7A on a variety of film stocks, they represent me putting one up on the scoreboard and being OK with sharing what I find fun, however unrefined.
If you’ve read this or viewed my pictures, thank you for being a part of my journey.
